Traditionally, the Autodesk License Manager for a network license type, now know as Multi-User, distributed licenses based on product versions. For example, if a firm has a 10 node Building Design Suite Premium network licenses and a user opens AutoCAD 2016 and Revit 2015, two licenses were issued.
This is no longer the case for Industry Collections. Every application in the Industry Collection is able to run with a shared license regardless of the release.
For example, if you have a package license for the Product Design Collection, you can run AutoCAD 2017 and AutoCAD 2016 at the same time, or AutoCAD 2017 and 3ds Max 2016 at the same time, and only consume one license.
